The Wasatch Front Regional Council's
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a five-year program of highway,
and transit projects for the Salt Lake And Ogden Metropolitan Area. It is a compilation
of projects from the various federal, state, and local funding programs for
all the cities and counties in the Region, as well as for the Utah Department
of Transportation and the Utah Transit Authority. Projects included in the
program will implement the The first sections of this report provide an
introduction and information on the transportation planning, programming
process, and funding sources for transportation improvements. The individual tables provide information on the
type of improvement, the cost, and the phasing of each project for the
Federal-Aid Programs, the local funded projects, and the state funded
projects. A brief description for each project on the Urban Area
Surface Transportation Program, the Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality
Program, and the Federal-Aid Transit Program have been included with their
appropriate program table. The map shows the location for each project of
the Urban Surface Transportation Program, the Congestion Mitigation/Air
Quality Program, other Federal-aid, State and Transit programs in the
urbanized areas. The appendix includes the policies used to guide
the development and approval of the TIP, including the Surface Transportation
program and Congestion Mitigation / Air Quality program. Follow this link to download the
