The Salt Lake Area Transportation Technical Advisory Committee was established through an agreement between the Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC), Utah State Transportation Commission, Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).  The purpose of the committee is to serve as a technical advisory committee, providing technical advice and input to the WFRC’s Transportation Coordinating Committee (Trans Com) regarding the transportation planning process including  the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and other transportation issues.  The committee also serves as a forum for the exchange of information and coordination on technical issues.

The Salt Lake Area Transportation Technical Advisory Committee is made up of engineers, and other professionals representing Salt Lake County and each municipality within the county as well as UDOT, UTA, Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other local agencies.

The committee typically meets the 1st Wednesday of each month.  The meeting agenda will be posted on the main page as it becomes available (usually one week prior to the meeting).  Minutes are posted after the Committee, usually at the next meeting, approves them.
